- Cliché Storm: Most reviews point out that every character conforms to a basic archetype with no improvements or subversions made to help them stand out from any other police parody.
- Ethnic Scrappy: With only a single exception, the majority of Asian characters were depicted as sleazy one-dimensional villains with ridiculously thick accents.
- Special Effect Failure: The animation leaves a lot to be desired. The characters have a very limited range of facial expressions and the movements don't have the frame-by-frame consistency that Archer and even South Park always maintain.
- They Copied It, So It Sucks!: The most common criticism of this show is that it looks and sounds like a rip-off of Archer. The creators have insisted that this is merely a coincidence, as they began developing PH back in 1996.
