One Punch Gamer
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Klein unfortunately is hit hard by this, arguably worse than canon. His canon friendship with Kirito is never explored and none of his competence comes through leaving him a recurring Butt-Monkey. Agil gets this to an extent as well.
Chains of Fate
- Alas, Poor Villain: Despite her actions in the previous story, it's very easy to feel pity for Equinox's current fate. Those error logs at the end of each chapter are truly unsettling.
- Moral Event Horizon: In-Universe, this is what Asuna, Kirito, and the rest of the UHA believe about everything Kikuoka has done with Alicization.
