Crack Pairing: Yeah, Ragna/Tsubaki isn't exactly a pairing you'd think of firsthand... However, this fic is very much responsible of making this one Crack Pairingliked, starting a wave of lesser fics featuring them. Ironic, because in canon Tsubaki hates Ragna. Tsubaki also already has a Single-Target Sexuality to Jin, bordering on Yandere if unchecked.
By the time of Central Fiction, the aformentioned Ragna and Tsubaki's relationship is more akin to Sitcom Archnemesis.
This series of fanfic has Ragna winning Tsubaki over due to his actual good nature beneath his reputation, but has Bang being in denial of that and still insists that he's a bad guy. The actual game however has the opposite happened where Bang acknowledges Ragna as a good person after they trade blows with each other in Chronophantasma, while Tsubaki still has a low opinion of him.
Out of Focus: Hakumen. Doesn't get much opportunity to show his strength, and then gets unceremoniously Killed Off for Real.
The Scrappy: Carl's obsession with getting his mitts on Ragna's Azure Grimoire, and the danger he puts Tsubaki in because of it, are genuinely infuriating; frankly Ragna should've killed him for that.
The Woobie: Ragna, while trying to come to terms with Tsubaki's apparent death.
