• Fanon: Many fans postulate that this more heroic Lupin, whose adventures are set in a much later time frame than Arsène Lupin's own tales, is actually Arsène Lupin the Second, son of the first and father of the Third, which would would make him the grandfather of Riko Mine.
• So Okay, It's Average: The acting, action, animation, and the repertoire between most of the characters was good, but the plots were repetitive and formulaic, something not helped by the Big Bad being one-note, and the Hero Antagonists more often than not being superfluous and useless, especially in their more contrived appearances like "Lupin Takes Pole Position."
