- Fanon: "Went to See the Gypsy" is commonly interpreted by fans as a song about Elvis Presley ("he did it in Las Vegas and he can do it here").
- Retroactive Recognition:
- Charlie Daniels of "The Devil Went Down to Georgia" fame plays bass on the album. He'd released one solo album but hadn't yet become a country superstar.
