- Genius Bonus: "This reminds me of the time I hit the reporter with Piltdown Man's thighbone!" Piltdown Man a) was an infamous fraud and b) consisted entirely of skull and jaw fragments.
- "Basquiat is in danger!" The extra indeed does look like the famous graffiti artist.
- Similarly, "Leland Sklar... survivalist!"note
- Harsher in Hindsight: When Yuri is following the freshly-werewolfed security guard, they drive past a gas station where the price of fuel is displayed as $1.45 on up. Crow comments on the high prices. However, nowadays...Crow: Where are they, Port au Prince?
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Bill, Kevin and Mike's mocking of Natalie's accent is strikingly similar to their mocking of Johnny's accent in The Room (2003).
- The crew mocks one of the werewolves for looking more like a bat. Next season would feature It Lives By Night, a film that pretty much had the exact same plot as Werewolf, but featured a man turning into a werebat instead (while looking nothing like a bat at all).
- Mike makes one riff early in the movie about giving the werewolf skeleton some gym shorts. Guess what the werewolf in Goosebumps (2015) was wearing.
- Memetic Mutation: This is one of the most quotable (and quoted) episodes, both for the riffs and for the film itself.
- "Paul, you is a wur-wilf."
- The entire "Tusk" sequence over the credits.
