- Harsher in Hindsight:
- In response to the "Fifteen years from now" caption at the start, Tom cracks "Dick Clark will still look the same!" The episode aired in 1992; in 2004, Dick Clark had a stroke that caused partial paralysis.
- The shootout at the Sunya headquarters during the climax gets riffed as being what happens between classes at inner-city schools. Come the Late-New '10s, mass school shootings have become an increasingly common tragedy in the United States.
- Hilarious in Hindsight:
- Season 12 reveals that Dr. Forrester eventually hooked up with Kim Catrall, and Kinga is their daughter.
- The riff from Joel of "Someday this'll all be ours. Oh wait, it already is" is funny when you consider that James Earl Jones, aka Mufasa, is in this movie.
- The joke about "Madea" and "MadeaMan" takes on a whole new meaning to modern moviegoers.
- Unintentional Period Piece: The episode piles onto Kim Cattrall for being a has-been whose glory days are far behind her. A few years later came her Career Resurrection in Sex and the City.
