• What the Hell, Costuming Department?: When meeting Roland and seeing the horrific state of his costume, Snake suggests he gets another costume that doesn't make him look like he's going to die horribly. The man even notes that the equipment he got in the 1960s was more modern than this.
  • Likewise, the costume designs for the girls of UA's hero course are more or less the same, with Ocelot wondering how the hell these costumes got past the design screen in the first place.
