- Big-Lipped Alligator Moment: In We Bought a PARASITE off the Dark Web, after Chester is bit by the titular parasite, he has Parker bring him to his own doctor: Dr. Mumley, who... let's just say doesn't give the vibe of someone with an actual doctorate in medicine. The whole bit of the video involving him is pretty weird and doesn't contribute to the plot whatsoever, beyond proving even further just how dumb Chester is. As if that wasn't enough, Mumley has a separate Big-Lipped Alligator Moment when he suddenly says his own name with a high-pitched voice for no apparent reason.
- Designated Hero: Parker and Chester are fairly ineffectual as protagonists and it's common for them to end episodes by running away, often leaving their clients to be killed by the latest monster. Given the fact that the series seems to slip into Black Comedy at times, this may be intentional.
- Special mention goes to the video She Thought Her Little Brother Was Dead, where Parker pretty much decides to abandon Milly to her fate after discovering she has a boyfriend.
- Narm Charm: The series is so over-the-top and woodenly acted that one can't help but detect an underlying element of parody that pushes every episode into Black Comedy territory.
- Nightmare Fuel: A lot of the creatures encountered in the series are genuinely terrifying.
- Special mention goes to the horrible black moaning spindly-limbed… thing from It Waits Until You Fall Asleep.
