Interstate '76:
- Porting Disaster: The GOG.com Updated Re-release is very buggy, mostly stemming from Technology Marches On; modern CPUs run the game in what is essentially turbo mode which bizarrely, makes it run slower, causing NPCs in the campaign to drive at 10mph while their wheels violently spaz out, making it Unwinnable by Mistake. A fan-made launcher
included tools to make the game run properly, such as capping CPU power, running in the original Glide API (rather than DirectX), and killing explorer.exe while the game is running.
Nitro Pack:
- That One Level: "Velocity." Also a Whole Plot Reference to Speed.

- They Changed It, Now It Sucks!: Arcade-style controls, simplified damage and salvage systems, and other changes all led people to generally dislike this title in comparison to its predecessor. It is likely this game killed the series.
