• Fridge Logic: Tyrion doesn't have gold to bribe Mord, but he's wearing rings made of silver which he later uses to bribe Shagga in "The Pointy End."
• Harsher in Hindsight: Sansa remarks of Joffrey that she wants to marry him, even if he weren't brave, gentle, or strong. Of course, he does turn out to be a cowardly, cruel, weakling.
• Special Effects Failure:
  • During the Dothraki heart-eating ceremony, in spite of having just ingested a bloody fresh horse heart, blood all over her mouth, Dany's teeth are surprisingly clean when she speaks.
  • The melted gold: while melted gold can and in the right lighting does still have a tell-tale golden shine to it, it's also glowing itself, and doesn't look like a thick yellow goop.
