• Complete Monster: Asmodeus is an ancient demonic being responsible for several of the events of the series. Desiring to create a bridge to unleash its demonic brethren on the Earth in a faux bid for "harmony", Asmodeus strikes deals with any human it encounters, transforming them into the "Demonically Possessed", or D Hazards. After healing Miles Morgan's ill daughter in return for his undying loyalty, Asmodeus kills and replaces the wife of Isamu Ogata to conceive a Half-Human Hybrid named Kanna. When Ayano Yuugiri and Sharon Holygrail attempt to thwart its plan, Asmodeus tries strangling Ayano to death and tries to break Shu's mind by taking on a crude replica of his mother.
• Ensemble Dark Horse: One of the favorite characters among the fanbase? The nameless delivery driver girl. Who despite 3 scenes total in the entire series is loved for showing up instantly, and even sideswiping a demon in her delivery duties.
• Incest Yay Shipping: Shu and his sister Kanna, with shades of this In-Universe, too. Kanna loves her brother, and is heavily vested in destroying anyone gets close to him so she can have him all to herself. Fortunately, it's one-sided on Kanna's end.
• Launcher of a Thousand Ships: Besides the 3 main heroines , some fans ship Shu with both Mikhail and Kanna.
• Unintentionally Unsympathetic: While Shu's background is tragic, his relationships with women are rather toxic given how easily he seems to manipulate and treat all three heroines more like tools than people to meet his ends, while giving up his memories to Kisara so that he doesn't have to feel bad about it. When questioned or called out on it, all he seems to respond with are apologies and excuses when he isn't trying to dodge the question.
