- Fandom Rivalry: There's a mostly one-sided one with both Monster High and Ever After High, whose fans feel their franchises are being snubbed for a cheaper one (especially considering both's cancellation).
- Older Than the Demographic: It's aimed at preschoolers and girls in their early childhood but the protagonists are teenagers with responsibilities and jobs.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Many of the characters exist as dolls, and haven't made any appearance in the web series. Interesting characters such as Prue Panda, potential Moe Karina Koala, and characters such as Taylee Turtle, who's been with the franchise since it first released. In addition, even some of the main five characters are subject to this, as Sage Skunk and Patter Peacock don't get much focus as Bree Bunny and Felicity Fox.
- Tough Act to Follow: Enchantimals has been hit with a lot of this. It's been at best ignored by fans of Monster High and Ever After High and at worst ostracized. This has contributed to its relatively low popularity, and its quiet fandom.
