YMMV / Dark Air

  • Alternative Character Interpretation: Despite his murder of Melrose's family, is Vincent Zappa's ultimate goal of a permanent Age of Dark Air commendable and something that should be backed up, therefore making Melrose a Hero Antagonist? There's absolutely no denying that magic causes an IMMENSE class rift, to the point where Nobleman Mages would even perform casual murder for things like bumping into them the wrong way(Chapter 1), and Shenandoah even has to control herself during the battle with Zappa's four apprentices, stating she'd forgotten an important truth: that Mages -did- rule the world. The Queen of Peynia herself seems to feel this way, considering she's now SIDED with Zappa and seeks to imprison Melrose and his friends.

  • Evil Is Sexy: Team Nightwish is full of Goth fetishes.
  • Hollywood Pudgy: Emika.
  • Memetic Badass: Mustaine and Shenandoah are this in-universe. Melrose is this by virtue of being a mage.
