- Assuming the movie takes place in 2003-2004, Spruance-class destroyers and Oliver Hazard Perry-class frigates docked in Pearl Harbor. A few Spruances were still active in the U.S. Navy as of 2004 before all decommissioned in 2005. Meanwhile, the Oliver Hazard Perrys were majorly retired by 2006, though a few remained into the 2010s before last one was decommissioned in 2015.
