• Epileptic Trees: People like to speculate that there's more connections with THE MONUMENT MYTHOS than there explicitly is.
• Fan Nickname:
  • Due to the connection the series has with THE MONUMENT MYTHOS, the nickname given to the two universes seen in it also applies to the Corner Folklore. The main universe the series happens in is nicknamed the "Nixonverse" due to being the universe in which Richard Nixon won the elections of 1969, whereas the name for what eventually became the Cornerworld was the Deanverse, due to James Dean winning the elections of 1969.
  • After the name "Nixonverse" becomes Ascended Fanon and is used as the title for the third season of the Mythos, the universe in which CORNERFOLKLORE takes place has since been known as the "Cornerverse."
• Just Here for Godzilla: After the Series Fauxnale of THE MONUMENT MYTHOS, many fans have decided to follow the series after the revelation that these two are connected.
• Nightmare Fuel: This is the same guy who somehow managed to make the Rushmore Monument scary we're talking about.
  • Albeit fictional, Riley's descent to madness is this: The guy figures out there's small interdimensional creatures living in his house's corners, eventually figures out their means of transport, becomes utterly obssessed with them and tries to become one himself by entering their homeworld.
  • The sounds of the Cornerworld certainly classify as this, a hellish laughing-screaming like sound, which just seems to stretch out until the video ends.
  • The no longer canon CORNERBABY features the sight of a completely folded baby inside a car window, as well as implying this to be so common of an occurence that local authorities had to demolish the abandoned nursery the video took place in.
  • CORNERGIRL starts with the revelation that Riley Tillon was inspired by a real person, and that they have gained access to Alex's channel. All while the camera shows an unconscious woman, with the individual calling her "lugagge" and "the perfect gift" for the Cornerworld, with the audio of what appears to be an educational video of what corners are.
