- Serial Number Filed Off: Zig-Zagged. The setting has many similarities to City of Heroes. These include an Alternate History where superheroes changed the world, a Super Team of eight core members which include a Captain Patriotic, an archer, a robot, a psychic, and a magic-user, it takes place in a fictional city in New England, and there's a major antagonist faction based on arachnids. However, they've also gone to great lengths to ensure City of Titans is a successor, not an imitation, while still paying homage to the original. These include a new morality system, new customization options, new types of heroes and villains, new organizations, and an extensive lore that tells the tale of many different perspectives.
