• Angst? What Angst?: Deconstructed - for how much weight Sonny and the other cops give the incident that broke apart the Chicken Police and subsequent build-up to their reunion, Marty, while initially very prickly, seems to get over it within minutes and start treating Sonny like an old friend again. While this bad blood does come up now and again, most notably when he and Sonny nearly die and he gives him a vicious "Reason You Suck" Speech, all seems to be Easily Forgiven... unless the player decides to revisit the Weekend Home before the final confrontation, where it will be revealed that Marty was carrying Hidden Disdain for Sonny for the first half of their investigation, so much so that his speech had been rehearsed and ready from the moment they found Deborah's body, and he had only been playing along to get the satisfaction of watching him screw everything up. What made him turn around was the aforementioned near-death experience, as it gave him both the chance to get the resentment out of his system and gave him perspective on the value of their partnership.
• Fetish Retardant: The women in the red light district are likely to be this to all but a very select subset of players. To non-furry players, the animal heads on top of attractive human bodies are going to instantly negate any potential fanservice. To furry players, the fact that they straddle the line awkwardly between full Beast Man and Little Bit Beastly will be equally alienating, making them the worst of both worlds.
• Genius Bonus: During an optional conversation with Mullen, he'll reveal that he used to go to college with Dr. Quetzalcoatl, affectionately calling him "Quetzalcoatlas". This is a Stealth Pun - a combination of his name and "atlus", referencing his vast intelligence, and also a homophone of the name of the largest known pterosaur.
• Woolseyism: While the dialogue is generally well-written, there are some clunky lines in the text that make it obvious that it was written by non-native English speakers. Thankfully, the voiced lines feature some apparent improv by the actors to make sentences that flow more naturally in English.
