YMMV / Capsule Servant

Go To

  • Hilarious in Hindsight:
    • A popular collecting game featuring Servants being pulled out of a gacha-esque summoning system? Doesn't sound so outlandish now, does it?
      • Heck, Jeanne's desperate plea to become a Breakout Character is this, considering that her corrupted counterpart, Jeanne d'Arc Alter (and her counterpart Jeanne d'Arc Alter Santa Lily), was this in lieu of the real Jeanne for Grand Order.
    • In this universe, powerless Bazett (as well as other normal humans) is able to become a Heroic Spirit just by signing up with the Heroic Spirit Association. Later on in Grand Order, canon characters becoming Heroic Spirits was only allowed if there was some reason attached to it, whether it be alternate universe exploits, note  posession, note  or special circumstance.note  This includes Bazett herself, as she's summoned with the Saint Graph of ManannĂ¡n mac Lir.
      • This universe managed to find a way to temporarily make regular people into Servants, which integrated into normal life fairly well. In Grand Order's Servant Universe, the new normal was caused by people finding a way to do this permanently.
    • While Shirou is a Master here, fellow tower defense game The Battle Cats featured a cat version and a chibified version of him as playable units in its Fate/stay night crossover.
