• Harsher in Hindsight: Tara finds the idea of Buffy sleeping with Spike laughable. Come next season, guess whom Buffy confesses their affair to?
• Ho Yay: Xander states that he understands why Buffy might be having sex with Spike, as he's dark and mysterious... and also well-muscled. Lampshaded by Buffy, who states plainly that she's not sleeping with Spike, but that she's starting to suspect Xander might be.
