YMMV / Boy Eats Girl

• Ensemble Dark Horse: Most reviews of the movie praise Cheryl (a secondary character without much Character Development) for being hilariously bitchy, yet still a decent Action Survivor.
• Jerkass Woobie: Charlotte is a Beta Bitch who has some moments of being mean and inconsiderate towards Jessica and Diggs, but does show a very sad, vulnerable side and is a Love Martyr for a guy who doesn't even pretend to consider her feelings at any given point. There are some hints that this may also apply to her friends Cheryl and Glenda, to a lesser extent.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Once all of the main characters have banded together for a Five-Man Band, Cheryl stops getting impressive Action Survivor moments and doesn't even get any scenes or dialogue providing closure with Nathan or Jessica over the hostility caused by her prior negative interactions with them.
• What Do You Mean, It's Not Symbolic?: Some fans of the movie try to apply a theologian viewpoint (taking one side or the other) to the zombies being cured by snake bites, considering the biblical tale of Saint Patrick driving the snakes out of Ireland.
