YMMV / Bloody Pit of Horror

• Anticlimax Boss: In the end, Travis stupidly runs into his own deadly trap and dies.
• Audience-Alienating Premise: The only enjoyment anyone's gonna get out of the film is likely people who came to see supermodels being tortured. The production value is so low, it's in hell, so pretty much everything from the plot to the dialogue to the set design is below par even for the time period. Most of the film is padded with long, slow scenes of them exploring the creepy house and all the torture takes place in the film's final minutes. Not to mention the villain's ridiculously avoidable defeat/death at the end. It makes the entire thing unappealing but for those with specific tastes.
• Narm: The giggling villain is huge Narm for starters, but the reactions the characters have to the torture at the end invoke laughter far more than fear.
• Nightmare Retardant: It's impossible to take the maniacal villain seriously even if he is torturing people. The traps are weirdly too elaborate and some of them don't even appear to be deadly, simply a nuisance. The titillation part is played straight, but the over the top acting pretty much assures there are little to no scares to be had by the audience.
• WTH, Costuming Department?: One of the actresses is sporting the most painfully obvious bowl-cut blonde wig. It doesn't fit her head right and can definitely take you out of the movie if you look at it for too long.
