- LGBT Fanbase: The abundance of Ho Yay and the eponymous Kitty (possibly) identifying as non-binary quickly garnered the show a dedicated queer fanbase.
- What Do You Mean, It's for Kids?: A few episodes in, and you might be wondering how in the world this show managed a rating of TV-Y7. The later episodes tend toward quite mature themes, permanent character deaths are present, and, well...let's just say the instances of Female Gaze are NUMEROUS. Or it could simply be argued that the show's creator REALLY knew what children of a certain age would find hilarious and was not afraid at all to go there.
