• Complete Monster (episodes 4-6): The Warlock, also known as the Handsome Young Man, first appears to be a kind person who flirts with Gretel and gives food to the orphanage. However, it turns out he is actually a warlock who for the past hundred years lured in young girls to his manor, ripping their souls out in the form of doves to fuel his magic, and keeping them locked in small cages indefinitely. He then erases the memories of the girls from all the townsfolk to make them still think he's a hero. He treats his own mother like a slave, binding her in shackles and has never shown her kindness, and she agrees that he must be stopped. And after he realizes Gretel knows his secret, he begins terrorizing her for kicks before mind-controlling the entire town to attack her.
