Agony of Racism is a fan comic based on SMG4 made by Alex, aka Makerboy 10, and featuring his Inksona. Tired of the racism of Team Killer Ink, Alex decides to send them to the big city so that they will know what it’s like to be discriminated. You can read the story here.

Agony of Racism contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Nice Guy: Team Killer Ink start off as bitter as ever, especially towards humans, but the events of the story mellow them out and teach them to be kinder to humans.
  • Aesop Enforcer: The creator’s Author Avatar is the one pushing for the anti-racism aesop.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: Part of why Team Killer Ink ultimately drop their racism towards humans is because one elder takes pity on them when they are rendered homeless and offers them a place to stay, in addition to feeding them.
  • Heartwarming Orphan: What kicks off Team Killer Ink’s Redemption Quest is them giving two starving children their food, realizing the kids are just like them at the time; homeless.
  • Named by the Adaptation: Team Killer Ink are given the names Iris (Leader), Brian (Thug), Lola (Sniper), and Dink (Commando).
  • A Taste of Their Own Medicine: The premise of the story, as Team Killer Ink dealing with the very racism reminiscent of their behavior towards humans is what whips them into shape.
