Shadow Rider Predictions
- Camula is confirmed to be present as has Nightshroud. It is believed that Titan and Tania will both be cut from the roster, as Abidos has been mentioned in a history class already to foreshadow his appearance. The remaining rides will be: Camula -> Abidos -> Nightshroud -> Amnael/ Banner.
- Nightshroud won't duel Jaden; he'll duel Alexis...and win. Karyu will then duel Nightshroud and defeat him.
- The prediction that Tania will be cut has been Jossed due to Tania appearing at the end of Chapter 25 and explicitly labeled as a Shadow Rider. Nightshroud not dueling Jaden and instead facing Alexis and Karyu, losing to the latter, is confirmed.

- Chazz, Alexis and Bastion will all be brainwashed like their anime counterparts. But there's a predictyion that Bree, Jasmine, Miyuki and Blair will also be brainwashed.

Jesse Anderson won't be the exchange student from North Academy...
...he'll be an actual transfer student. The North Academy exchange student will be an OC or a Call-Forward.- Potentially confirmed with Alfimi, being an Exchange Student from North Academy.

Jesse Anderson won't be playing pure Crystal Beasts
The majority of the modern support (especially the incoming structure deck) is designed with hybrid builds in mind, and the deck is SIGNIFICANTLY worse when generic XYS and Links are out of the picture. Betting on the deck including a bit of Tribrigade (the variant that can most reliably get out Rainbow Dragon and Rainbow Ruins) and later Pendulum (the variant that works the best with the new Advanced Crystal Beasts) support.- Hhe might actually pull out Gem-Knights.

Alfimi won't just be a Crouching Moron, Hidden Badass like Reggie thinks...
...She'll be full-blown Story-Breaker Power levels of amazing.- Could be confirmed; she is packing Beastborgs.
- Partially Confirmed; Alfimi is indeed a skilled duelist, able to toy with the likes of Bastion...but she's not invincible and can struggle against skilled or well-prepared opponents, such as her Tag Duel with Syrus against Mindy and Chazz. She's conclusively defeated by Karyu near the end of Part 2...but only after pushing in to the brink of defeat.
The card that Zane gave Karyu.
A bet on the idea that Zane gave Karyu Dragonecro Nethersoul Dragon. Banner/ Amnael could've been looking into the Duel Dragons and/or Crimson Dragon. This will actually be the event that sets up a sequel adaptation of 5Ds. It would also make for an interesting Boss or Ace monster in his new Zombie World Deck.- There's a moment in Chapter 12 which could be hinting at Eldlich. Which also fits if it was Banner's card beforehand.

The fact that Jasmine is able to get her hands on cards like Flame Wingman and Phoenix Enforcer is leading to believe that Koyo Hibiki's Elemental HERO Deck might not have been all that special...which is why he'll use Vision HERO instead. With its gimmick of having HER Os be in the Spell/Trap Zone could also be used to foreshadow Jaden's friendship with Jesse.- Jossed in Chapter 17 of Part 2. Koyo uses Gem-Knights.
Yusuke Fujiwara will have an active role in Part 4, won't use a Clear deck and will be possesed by Tragoedia instead of Nightshroud
Like in canon he will be Atticus and also David's best friend and will use Liar of Darkness deck or some other popular archetype. David and Atticus will also be one of the prominent characters in Part 4.- Most likely Jossed as Jin seems to be allying with Yubel in Part 3.
The transfer students will be from American Duel Academy like their manga counterparts
Except Jesse all of them will have backstory similar to their manga counterparts and will be possesed by Tragoedia.- Jossed as of Part 3, where the only American Exchanges students have been Reggie Mackenzie and Axel Brodie.
Victims of the Barron Ritual in Part 3
Hassleberry and Atticus will be a victim like their canon counterparts and along with them are also Mindy, Miyuki, and Bree who will also join them as victims, while Alexis and Chazz will be spared. Karyu will likely save them from becoming victims of Super Polymerization. Jin won't be some throwaway OC
He'll be Jaden's main rival and/or Tragoedia's main minion in Part 4.- Jin is currently allied with Yubel.
The Genex Tournament
The final match of the Genex Tournament will be Karyu vs Hell Kaiser Zane.- Jossed. Hell Kaiser withdrew from the tournament after hospitalizing Syrus. The final match was a Triangle Duel between Chazz, Karyu and Yugi Muto.
Duel Ghoul Predictions
Like in canon, Chazz, Syrus, Fonda Fontaine, Crowler, and Bonaparte become Duel Ghouls, but also maybe Seika, Mindy, or anyone else in the cast apart from Jaden, Karyu, and Jesse. Having more characters turn into Duel Ghouls would further the stakes of Season 3. Yubel won't possess Jesse
She'll possess Jasmine instead. Jaden and Jasmine were dating while he had Yubel in Part 1 ,even if he never got to play her. And turning Possession into Fusion will be part of Yubel's goals. Viper won't be the Disc-One Final Boss of Part 3
Instead he'll have Adaptational Heroism, die Taking the Bullet and give Jaden a What the Hell, Hero? speech.- Potentially Jossed. Viper is working with Jin and Yubel.
Jaden won't return in Part 4.
Instead, he'll stay in the Monster dimension, possibly to fight Tragoedia in a rematch, and leave Duel Academy's safety to Karyu.
