Speculation for P9
  • The game will go back to the series' eroge roots and reverse P8's Tamer and Chaster tone.
  • There will be a version for PC and the as-of-then current generation Nintendo console. Unlikely to see a release on Xbox as it won't appeal to their audience, PlayStation as Sony is censoring games, and mobile as it would be too demanding for that platform (both in terms of size and type of content).
  • There will be five girls, with four in the main game (with different order routes like in P7, but done so you can only play three in one playthrough) and one True Final Boss.
  • The game will have a futuristic theme. Considering most of the series is very clearly in the 1980s and 1990s, it could reflect what people thought of those eras in 20 Minutes into the Future works. Nothing too weird, though, since the title has Real in it.
  • The girls:
    • A traditional schoolgirl we expect from the series. Perhaps an avid social media user who's shy outside of it.
    • A Yamato Nadeshiko with a kimono as her starting outfit, as a contrast to the other characters. Perhaps she's a Challenge Seeker and will react poorly to losing?
    • A Japanese Delinquent with typical design tropes for such a character. Make her tough and intimidating, potentially more so as she loses clothing as a Shameless Fanservice Girl.
    • An electrician who wears overalls. She may have Vapor Wear and put the overalls on upon losing instead of underwear. Otherwise a kooky girl who treats her job very seriously.
    • The True Final Boss will be a Robot Girl, as a culmination of the theme and making a very different secret opponent (since Christine was an American girl and Etsuko was a maid). She would still remove clothes. She's naive about the human world, while still trying to appear seductive.
  • If not, the theme will be internationality, with each girl representing a different country. Not sure if Japan and America should be included, as we already have plenty from the former and the latter may make Christine less unique.
  • Some designs may change depending on the day you're playing or a random factor. Don't try anything excessive, but differently-colored hair decorations or underwear could help add replay value.
  • The game will use HD-quality animations, but there could be an option for a lower-resolution retro style.
  • There'll be a bonus for 100% Completion. Perhaps a teaser for a remaster or a sequel to Real Mahjong Adventure or the option to play the original.
There will be a installment with guys. Hot guys.
