The Bearded Crimson Head in the Death Mask Coffin is George Trevor
Before he died, George was discovered in the underground coffin room, weakened from starvation and maddened by his isolation and being within a hair's breadth of his gravestone. Spencer subsequently had him experimented on just like his daughter, and after they tried to dispose of the zombie he became, ended up as the first Crimson Head, who managed to kill four researchers who tried to feed him before subsequently being frozen and placed in a coffin.- Problem is, he should have turned into a licker at some point from being a crimson head for 30 years, and the T-virus wasn't created until 1978, 10 years after Trevor's death.
George Trevor survived
The last recorded note by George Trevor is undated but listed after the discovery of his own tombstone. It speaks of a secret room even Spencer doesn't know about. Sure, it's only intended to point the player toward the costume room, but it does seem uncharacteristic of George that he would be undone by the simple switch hidden on his tombstone. Umbrella maintained a company hamlet nearby
Fans have a lingering query concerning the lack of accommodation in the mansion, and the lack of reasonable, low-key commuting methods from Raccoon City. As the mansion is out in the boonies, it's not too hard to imagine Umbrella simply maintained a small residence complex nearby on private land. The hunters are living beings
Hence why Barry hands you acid rounds and says they're especially useful against living things. The hunters were sent by Umbrella
They detected activity at the mansion so they deployed the hunters to kill any humans investigating the place.- This one actually makes some sense, as there doesn't seem to be anywhere in the Complex that seems dedicated to storing them when not in use.
