Replacement sharks
When the Bullshark dies, Trip will sometimes ask somebody offscreen if they can get a new Maneater to replace her, and yet he treats these replacements the same as the original shark. From this, my idea is that, since this is all presumably a recording of the Bullshark's rampages before it gets edited and put on air (judging by how he references the final cut when the shark confronts Mama Maybell), the death of any sharks used in the show would be skipped over; there only ever was one Bullshark, regardless of how many sharks died during the show's production.
