• No Port For You: The "Truth Quest" DLC wasn't released for the Nintendo Switch at the time the others were, with a forum post citing the technical difficulties of porting the base game over to the Switch — which took just over a year to get working — and indicating that the DLC might not make the jump. Later, they confirmed that neither a Switch port or any further DLCs would be developed and that the developers will work on other projects, possibly including a sequel to Maneater.
• What Could Have Been: In a Q&A livestream on May 25th, 2021, it was revealed that originally the team planned to have the wildlife avert Gang Up on the Human, but decided to discontinue doing so because it would've required a lot of effort and having to compete with other predators for prey resources would have gone against the action RPG spirit of the game.
