WMG / Halloween Kills

Go To

For this film's opening titles, the iconic pumpkin will be consumed by flames

By the end of the sequence it will be burned and scarred, but still standing solid.

  • Also, the burn marks will match the same scorch marks on Michael's mask from his near-death burn.
  • Confirmed.

In a shocking twist, Michael will be unquestionably dead by the end of this movie, or very early on in Halloween Ends

One of the main characters, such as Allyson or Karen, will suddenly get the drop on Michael and kill him, dragging it out in an effort to make him suffer and even enjoying it themselves. Halloween Ends will then revolve around Michael's killer suffering a trauma-induced breakdown and embarking on their own killing spree, even wearing Michael’s mask as they do so, and Laurie is forced to confront them. Thus, Michael Myers dies just a man, but the evil he embodies carries on without him.

At some point in the film, Michael will take off his mask and put it on one of his victims...
...as part of his Disguised Hostage Gambit plan, resulting in one of the mobs fighting back at Michael, accidentally killing their own when they see one wearing his mask.
  • By the looks of the trailer, though, one of his intended victims takes the mask from him, taunting him to come get it. Presumably luring him into a trap.

There'll be a scene where the entire town surrounds him, screaming for his death.
But Michael won't be deterred, as he sees it as an easy way to kill more people. Though, the people will be able to restrain him and take the knife away, leading him into a Villainous Breakdown until he's finally killed.

Having the entire town after him will be exactly what reinvigorate the fading spark within Michael to begin his killing spree in the earnest again.
As in the first film, his body-language hinted of sheer frustration in regard to how easy and one-sided his killings were when he began once more after his absence. Now, with the entire town hunting for him, he will rediscover the "thrill" of death that he felt that night during his first killing-spree, and finally let him "take off the silk-gloves" when dealing with Haddonfield once more, indulging in the challenge and start killing the way he intended to do it from the get-go.

Laurie will need to start killing innocent people to absorb their power like Michael
If killing people makes someone stronger in this world, Laurie will start killing men, women, and children to kill Michael.

Alternately to the above WMG, Allyson will start killing people for the same reason.
Let's be honest, Laurie is not in any shape to be taking on Michael, at least not on her own. Allyson, being Laurie's granddaughter and about the same age Laurie was when she first encountered Michael, is. Learning of her mother's death and being heartbroken. Allyson will realize it Takes One to Kill One and go on her own killing spree, but in a twist on Michael's nature and to combat the obvious side effects killing would have on a normal person, she'll only kill bad people. Ending the next film by killing Michael finally and putting an end to his evil once and for all.
