WMG / Bramblestar's Storm

Go To

Sandstorm will die
In the prologue, Firestar wonders when Sandstorm will join him. Perhaps she will come to StarClan in this book?
  • Jossed, though she does retire to the elders' den.

BloodClan will be involved.
The "When blood meets water, the blood will rise" prophecy, in a twist, could be referring not to kin but to BloodClan. And with their constant appearances in the manga and the innumerable Scourge expies, we know the Erins are willing to use them again.
  • Jossed. It refers to how the Clans need to unite in the face of greater threats to survive.

Coriander will be a villain
It seems strange to introduce a random new kittypet character out of nowhere. Perhaps she has sinister intentions?
  • Jossed. She doesn't do much of anything, except show that Smoky is an ass for "replacing" Floss.

Sandstorm will have more kits soon after The Last Hope.

And she will be one of the oldest queens the Clan has ever seen. Firestar was on his last life and they know a war is coming. So Firestar and Sandstorm embracing the possibility that one or both of them might not return, spent one last night together. And just for drama, one of the kits will be the spitting image of his father, down to his personality. Sandstorm will name him Firekit, after his daddy.

  • Jossed.

Squirrelflight is going to die in Bramblestar's Storm
According to Wordof God, she and Bramblestar are mates again. While this is very heartwarming, the protagonists of the Super Editions haven't exactly had a good track record of keeping their mates alive. Let's recount:
  • Bluestar loses Oakheart
  • Crookedstar loses Willowbreeze
  • Yellowfang loses Raggedstar
  • Tallstar loses Jake
Plus, she's his first deputy. How many first deputies actually go on to become leader? Not a lot. Therefore, it's all too likely the Erins will let them be So Happy Together for a while before killing her off.
  • Jossed. Though, now that she's expecting kits, Death by Childbirth is a possibility.
    • As of chapter one in The Apprentice's Quest, she and her kits are alive and well. However, there may or may not be negative foreshadowing regarding her future...

There's a huge death count, even huger than normal.
This troper has yet to read the book yet, so bear with her, as this is likely improbable. The death count for this book reaches maximum capacity, leaving only a select few alive. This is because of a storm, inadvertently caused by Bramblestar's meer existence.

Jessy has SkyClan blood
She's mentioned to be very skilled at hunting, but in particular jumping and catching prey in mid-air. In addition, when she leaves the Clan, she says that something in her blood awoke with a taste for adventure.
