The game has you go around the map collecting arrows that spawn around to gain a Stand (taken from parts 3 through 8) alongside some other powers from the series while also being able to use Rokakaka fruits to get rid of your current power and get a new one... sounds familiar? Well, that's because Project JoJo isn't just a JoJo game on Roblox: it's THE first JoJo game on Roblox, the one that started the entire trend and created the basic mechanics that you'll find in all the other games.
While the game used to be incredibly popular in the past, it slowly lost relevance as other similar games came out, with its last major update adding the Stand "Wonder of U" from JoJolion. The game is mostly considered dead nowadays, although it still has a small fanbase that keeps playing it from time to time.
Project JoJo provides examples of:
- Adaptational Name Change: The Stand "Sex Pistols" is called "Six Pistols" in the game, which makes sense since the original name would have never gone past Roblox's filter.
- Boss Battle: The game has 4 different bosses that can be fought: DIO, Kira, Notorious B.I.G. and Diavolo.
- No Plot? No Problem!: The game has literally 0 plot, relying on the players trying to obtain items and powers, grinding, fighting with each other or against bosses, or doing quests.
- Time-Limit Boss: Both Kira and Diavolo have to be defeated within a limited amount of time if you want to obtain their rewards.
