The King in Mourning

With Destoroyah defeated (for now), Godzilla makes his way to the wreckage of Ariake Coliseum, where Destoroyah had dropped Junior to his death, shooting him with a blast of Micro-Oxygen to ensure that he wouldn't survive. At this point, Godzilla's meltdown has rendered him so radioactive that Junior appears to briefly come back to life, only to quietly pass away, seemingly for good this time. The grief Godzilla feels, coupled with the rage towards his adoptive son's killer, only worsens his meltdown, and things only get worse when Destoroyah returns, intent on killing Godzilla himself. Yet, Junior's brief resurrection may yet mean that there is still hope for victory, even at this darkest hour...
