Describe Troper Here:
Hi fellow Tropers! I mostly trope around Video Games pages, but will occasionally head over to other pages for a change. As you may have figured out, I love video games, and most of my contributions end up going there. Although I do like Animes, reading and creative writing as well.
The types of games I prefer are RTS and ACT, although I play the former much less now due to the downfall of one of my favourite franchise in the genre... I will generally like a game if it comes with a creative approach of the gameplay, some thought-incurring culture values, and a good sense of humour. On the gameplay vs storytelling front, I'm kind of 50-50. I enjoy games with mechanics that work well and can provide hours of fun despite not having much of a plot, but I also enjoy a good story ever now and then. However, I don't agree to games that sacrifice the former completely for the convenience of storytelling. And I've always disliked traditional JRPGs that force lengthy periods of grinding on players and meanwhile stretches its plot paper-thin to cope with the unnecessary waste of time.
Games that I like:
- BioShock - Infinite rocks! I don't care if everyone else thinks it's overhyped or overrated, I loved it and I'm still loving it now. The first two games are cool, too, though.
- Chrono Trigger - And death to Chrono Cross for giving bad ending to the protagonists!
- Command And Conquer. Gameplay-wise, Generals is my favourite, although the Tiberium series' sci-fi setting always fascinated me the most. Too bad the series had to go down the way it did... Oh and Twilight? (Not that one) You can rot in hell for all I care.

- Dynasty Warriors
- Samurai Warriors
- Warriors Orochi
- Romance of the Three Kingdoms (Okay, so basically, most games from Koei...)
- First Encounter Assault Recon
- Half-Life 2
- The King Of Fighters
- Metal Slug
- Nightmare House
- No One Lives Forever
- Resident Evil. Though mostly just Resident Evil 4.
- Middle Earth Shadow Of Mordor - Yes it might be a bit overpriced for the amount of content it offers (and I got it worse since every game in Australia costs about 10% - 20% more than the rest of the world), but who cares, the combat is AWESOME!
- Silent Hill 2
