Trivia / Xscape (Michael Jackson Album)

Go To

  • Publisher-Chosen Title: "Chicago" was originally titled "She Was Loving Me" prior to it's selection for Xscape. Since there's already two other songs on the album that use variations of "love" in their titles, the change was likely for the best.
  • Similarly Named Works: "Slave to the Rhythm" shares its name with a song and album by Grace Jones.
  • Throw It In!: On the documentary included on the bonus DVD, the producer of "Loving You" notes that he accidentally misaligned the master tape in the process of transferring it, which caused the intro to be slightly out of phase. He liked the effect and so it appears with it on the final album (most obvious on the original mix).
