• Approval of God: XNDgoat, the artist for the mod, has retweeted fanart of the mod, including some potential Minus designs for that version of Flippy.
• He Also Did: Seberster, the mod's composer, also composed the songs for the Starving Artist mod.
• The Original Darrin: Aubrey Ankrum's voice for Fliqpy is sampled for the mod, but with more variety in how he sings.
• The Other Darrin: Conversely, clips of Kenn Navarro’s voice for Flippy is used for the opening cutscene in the dev build.
• Similarly Named Works: There is another mod titled VS Flippy that was released while this mod was in its planning phase.
• What Could Have Been: For a time, there was a schism that occurred in the dev team that split the team into two distinct groups. One of them Vs. Flippy: Full Metal!, had a new dev team, but the plot stayed the same. In contrast, the team behind Vs. Flippy: Fallen Soldier comprised of the old members of Flipped Out's dev team and worked on a new plot. As of October 2022, both sides have buried the hatchet, and Flipped Out is once again in development.
