Trivia / Vektroid

Go To

  • Big Name Fan: A surprising one from Michael Nesmith, who loved Floral Shoppe' for being more psychedelic than psychedelics.
  • Colbert Bump: Much of Floral Shoppe's infamy can be attributed to Anthony Fantano's review of it.
  • Keep Circulating the Tapes: Hours of old releases only exist in the wild of the Internet, as they have all been removed from Vektroid's bandcamp page(s). This includes the original, non-updated forms of albums. Even more and much older releases were distributed on peer sharing networks and only exist either as a list or on isolated user's harddrives.
  • Old Shame:
    • No releases before the dstnt alias appear on Vektroid's Bandcamp page as of 2019 (and not all of the dstnt releases are currently available.) The Vektordrum albums Capitose Windowpane, Geese and Hello1&2 were re-issued in 2016 but likewise aren't available.
    • The New Dreams Ltd. Tumblr page lists the albums released as esc 不在 and Sacred Tapestry, as well as the Prism Genesis and Initiation Tape albums, as "<REDACTED>". Sacred Tapestry's Shader and Initiation Tape would be reissued in expanded form under the Vektroid name alongside Prism Genesis (renamed Fuji Grid TV EX), while some of the esc 不在 songs were added to the Initiation Tape reissue.
