  • Accidentally Correct Zoology:
    • Pretty much all the dinosaurs are based on pre-Renaissance depictions but are shown being fairly active and lithe, which might be a case of Shown Their Work since the Dinosaur Renaissance posting such theories was in its infancy in 1974.
    • In "Forbidden Fruit", John identifies the sauropod as a Brontosaurus without mentioning that it is (at the time) also known as Apatosaurus, which as a scientist, he should have known. Roughly 4 decades later, the two dinosaurs are now recognized as separate genera.
