  • Creator Backlash: Papcio Chmiel dislikes the early stories he drew for the "Świat Młodych" magazine, saying that they were "drawn horribly" as well he wasn't happy about the first five books do to communistic propaganda in them which was forced by the current system rather then his own intention. He also noted that each book he makes feels like the "best one yet" until he reads it some time after its publication and realises how much better he could have made the script.
    • Papcio Chmiel in fact remade the first few books and was shocked when he learned that most of the fans prefer the original versions made in the 60's.
    • Papcio hated all of the animated adaptation of Tytus (even those which he'd been praising during the production.
  • No Export for You: Like many Polish comic books, it's never seen the daylight outside of its homeland. The licensed game is available in the West as part of various Shovel Ware collections... which should tell you everything you need about its quality.
  • One-Hit Wonder: For most people the Tytus series is the only thing Chmielewski ever created. It's far from the truth. He in fact did dozens of various comic strips series in 1955-1977. Sadly none of them was ever popular (some even ending after few episodes) and they are only remembered by hardcore Polish comic book fans.
    • Chmielewski also did ocasional satirical drawngs tru out his career.
