• Actor Allusion: In Episode 11, an actress named Yeo Hajin is supposedly in the lobby of the hospital Suho and Seojun were staying in. This is a reference to a previous role Moon Gayoung played in Find Me in Your Memory.
• The Cast Showoff: Hwang Inyeop has been known to be a good singer, and gets to show it off multiple times in the drama.
• Dawson Casting: All the high school students in the show are played by actors and actresses who are mostly in their early to mid-20s. However, out of all the cast members, Seojun's actor is the most notable example of this. Hwang Inyeop is 30 years old but plays an 18-year-old student. Though he can kinda pass off as a high schooler due to his youthful appearance which is frequently pointed out by everyone.
• Funny Character, Boring Actor: Cha Eunwoo is an inversion of this as his role in the show requires him to be as expressionless and dull as possible but he is actually quite playful and smiley in real life, so unlike his character.
• Star-Making Role: True Beauty is this for most of the cast members due to its initial hype but Hwang Inyeop, in particular, quickly shot to fame thanks to his role as Han Seojun in the show.
• Actor-Shared Background: Both Inyeop and his character Seojun work as models and both are interested in fashion.
