• Dummied Out: There was going to be a quest involving getting the Quickie Pal's security tape from Leonard. It would involve showing him the whiskey bottle found at the crime scene, and using the BetaMax tape from the MovieTron outside. But it was cut, so Leonard is mostly a superfluous character, and the whiskey bottle, tape, and the burned out vacuum tube Delores uses to repair the VideoTron are all a Useless Item.
• Throw It In!: In a blog post for the June 2017 patch to the game, Ron Gilbert describes one of the new features of the game: Player characters will interact with each other if you "Talk to" them. He remarks that he only threw it in there because the fanbase commented on it, and he thought it sounded like a good idea.
