• Creator Backlash: invoked Howard never made any new or edited drafts of this story, something which he did with every story that he intended for publishing: as such, it can be easily surmised that Howard intentionally chose not to submit it. Whether this was due to the racial elements or just a general lack of quality, we'll never know.
• Dolled-Up Installment: Of a tall tale from Howard's native Texas, trading out the native Americans for black bushmen, and the cowboy hero for Conan. And an Eldritch Abomination.
