Trivia / The Return to Freddy's

• Creator Breakdown: BFPFilms424... did not have the happiest time developing the series, accumulating in, according to the wiki, "On October 4, 2016, BFP states on Twitter that he got some therapy, and took their advice to just leave the FNaF community and let TRTF die."
• Development Hell: The Return to Freddy's 5 was going to be, by far, the most ambitious game in the series. It had an extremely long list of characters that were going to appear, new gameplay elements, a rewritten lore, free roam, and be made in Unreal Engine. All of this, however, doomed the project to failure, and after loads of setbacks and difficulties, it ended up being canceled. Several TRTF fans have tried to revive the project, but so far, none have met with success.
• What Could Have Been:
  • The Return to Freddy's 5 in general, as mentioned above
  • Outside of 5, there were a lot of canceled games. This included Frankburts, RADSLA, and reboots of the original TRTF games by Tyler and later Collin Miller. All before being scrapped
• Word of God: A lot of things were revealed by the developer instead of being put in the actual game, such as Bonnie and Sugar being female.
