• Died During Production: Alexander Fu Sheng was originally supposed to have a larger role in the movie, beyond just the opening fight scene, but he died in a car accident before filming could be completed. His character was quickly written out of the movie, disappearing for no reason despite never shown dying onscreen.
• Referenced by...: Kill Bill used music from The 8 Diagram Pole Fighter in volume 2, specifically a stinger for when the Bride finally meets BB, her daughter and the villain's theme for when the Bride finally kills Bill.
