- Contest Winner Cameo: There's several instances, but the most notable is the fan scripted bonus comic at the end of Akaelae #5. Although, The Scripting Game only let Hariman cameo as the writer. It didn't get a character included.
- There is a contest for a "rotating roomie" slot in the upcoming rewrite of Cesilee's Diary.
- Old Shame: The earlier works. They're getting redrawn because the script is getting refined and the art is getting upgraded to Tiffany's current standards.
- Schedule Slip: Motherhood, conventions, the occasional tornado warning (or actual tornado) and motherhood cause some slips in the schedule. But most of the time we get at least two updated comics every week day.

The author posted this comment after speculation on who the involved characters were.- Also, Cesilee's Diary was originally supposed to be only 6 strips long. It ended up far longer and was eventually combined with the former primary comic, Campus Safari.
- Writer Revolt: Don't point out a mistake in Tiffany's art if someone has already pointed it out. It's rude and Tiffany doesn't like it when people repeat what other people just said.
