    • The miniature kingdom in a box from "The Seventh Sally or How Trurl's Own Perfection Led to No Good" inspired the video game Micropolis better known as SimCity — the game that created Simulation Game genre.
    • In the story Trurl pitied an exiled tyrant and gave him a toy kingdom to rule, punish and show mercy to. Then Klapaucius pointed out that an imitation, whose suffering is indistinguishable from that of a person, should be treated as a person, and Trurl just left a whole country at the tyrant's mercy. They returned to try and fix Trurl's mistake, but found the ruler overthrown and exiled to orbit. While Videogame Cruelty Potential steadily develops, Videogame Cruelty Punishment still lags behind.
