Trivia / The Bitterness Trilogy

• Creator Backlash: The author is actually embarrassed by this series now, and wonders why it was so popular in the first place.
• Meaningful Release Date: The last story was finished and posted not too long before the movie it was loosely based on came out. (Everything in the series was based on pre-release theories about the movie.)
• Official Fan-Submitted Content: There was a sequel story written by a fan of the series that followed the characters as adults. However, it was never finished.
• Shrug of God: A lot of questions about the series will probably get this response.
• What Could Have Been: There was originally going to be another suicide attempt by Phineas that involved jumping off of a bridge. Platyborg would've stopped him in the end, but would've been asked not to tell anyone. This idea was never even written.
• Word of God: Pheobus is Phineas' long-lost uncle. However, this was never actually mentioned in the story.
• Write What You Know: Both Phineas and the author have depression.
