- Cross-Regional Voice Acting: The game's cast is a mixture are from Los Angeles (eg. Yuri Lowenthal) and the UK (eg. Rob Rackstraw and Sacha Dhawan).
- Prop Recycling: Some of the menu and UI sound effects are from The Walking Dead: Season 2.
- Stillborn Franchise: Given that the game was a tie-in to the uber-popular Game of Thrones series, many more seasons were definitely planned with Season 2 announced to be in development in 2015. Since then, nothing has come of the announcement and the original Telltale Studio even closed in 2018, losing most of its licenses including GoT in the processnote . Telltale did get somewhat better, but given that the licensing issue hasn't been solved and the game remains unpurchaseable to this day, the odds of it receiving a continuation now are slim to none.

- What Could Have Been:
- It was originally planned for Tom to have been working for Olenna Tyrell, Margaery's grandmother, which would explain why Tom was protecting Mira in the first place. There's even cut dialog that reveals this information.
- Mira was originally planned to have a much larger role within the court of King's Landing, playing the titular "Game of Thrones" and either winning or dying based on her cunning and ruthlessness or lack thereof. However, her role was drastically reduced, with her either meeting her end being blackmailed into a marriage to a sociopath or executed.
