• Keep Circulating the Tapes: For decades, the only home video versions of the film available were bootlegs, presumably due to music rights issues. It wasn't until 2010 that it received an official home video release on DVD (with the Beach Boys performances restored) via Shout! Factory.
• Referenced by...: The Police's "When the World Is Running Down, You Make the Best of What's Still Around" mentions the narrator using the film to entertain himself while society is falling to pieces.
